We are behind the scenes preparing for quail season as we speak, so here is what to expect on your trip and how you can prepare too!
- Call now and book your guided quail hunt! A couple of things to consider when booking is if you want a full day or half day hunt, how many hunters will be in your group, and if you have any special requests as far as birds or guides go.
- Sign your waivers online! View your reservation via email and sign your waivers before you check in to simplify the process.
- Gather your gear! Bring your shotgun, ammo, vest, sturdy boots, layers for the cold, rain, or heat, ear protection, eye protection, and your hunting license. The good news is if you are traveling or don’t have these things, we have guns for rent, ammo for sale, protection to loan, and license for purchase at the pro shop.
- Arrive to the pro shop 30 minutes before your start time to take care of any housekeeping before your trip – this includes purchasing license or signing waivers if needed, watching the safety video, meeting your guide, and any other last minute to dos before.
- Head out on your guided trip with your guides and enjoy your time! The guides will ensure you have the best experience possible and help you with anything you may need along the way.
- After your trip wraps up, head back to the shop with your guide for bird cleaning and final settlement. At this time you’ll get your cleaned birds back, tip your guide, settle your tab if it is still open, and then you’ll be on your way!
- Share with your friends and family and plan your next trip!
